Local libraries closed Sunday

NORTH COUNTY ---- Four North County library branches will be closed Sunday to enable them to transfer to a new automation system. The branches are in Del Mar, Fallbrook, Poway and Vista.

Books that were due from Saturday through Aug. 9 at any of the county library's 32 branches have had their due dates extended to Aug. 10. During the closure, data about library holdings, library customers, and what's checked out of the library will be electronically extracted from the old system and transferred to a new system.
