SAN DIEGO - North County residents may hear periodic blasts and feel the ground shaking over the next several days as Camp Pendleton Marines take part in around-the-clock weapons training.
Personnel will be firing 155 mm howitzers on the North County military installation tomorrow through Tuesday, according to USMC public affairs.
Depending on atmospheric conditions, the blasts may be audible within a 50- mile radius, officials advised.
