One person killed, two others injured in shooting

GOOD HOPE ---- One person was killed and two other injured when a man reportedly shot them at a Good Hope home Monday, authorities said.
Details about the shooting and the names of the victims were unavailable at deadline Monday night.
About 5:15 p.m., Riverside County sheriff's deputies were sent to a home in the 25000 block of Sophie Street near Mapes Road after receiving a 911 call in which the caller hung up, said spokesman Sgt. Earl Quinata.
When deputies arrived, they found one person who had been shot and killed along with two others who apparently had been wounded, Quinata said. Two of the victims are believed to have been a married couple, Quinata said, but he didn't know if one of them was the person killed.
The brother-in-law of one of the three people shot was arrested at the home and is believed by deputies to have fired the shots, the sergeant said. No details about the man were available late Monday. At least one of the two people found shot was taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
