What is titled the "He Said, She Said" show will run through Jan. 4 and features the work of John Dunn and Carly Castillon.
California-born Dunn adopted the "California School of Watercolor Painting" style as a natural method of artistically describing the state he loves. He began painting as an offshoot of his first occupation of glassing surfboards. Dunn spent days glassing for Hobie Surfboards and evenings mixing the translucent resins into abstract paintings.
Often, Dunn's work portrays the fun and colorfulness of the Southern California beach towns he grew up enjoying. He transforms photos and sketches of the places he frequents into fresh watercolor renditions.
