VISTA ---- The Vista Village Business Association will have a new executive director starting Thursday.
Last week, the association's board of directors selected Karen Clay as the new director.
"We're just really excited to have her aboard," said Tom Flemming, president of the association.
Clay has a background in business training and event management, working at Intel Corp. for more than 12 years
"I am excited to have the opportunity to work with this organization to continue the revitalization of Vista's downtown business community," Clay said.
The association represents downtown businesses and works to promote commerce in the area.
Stephanie Jackel, the association's current director, said several months ago that she would retire at the end of the year.
