Man accused of selling drugs from car

PECHANGA INDIAN RESERVATION ---- A Fallbrook man was arrested after allegedly selling drugs from his parked car at the Pechanga Resort & Casino, authorities said Tuesday.

Security officers at the casino reported seeing a man engaged in suspicious activities from a Honda Civic parked on the property, said Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Dwayne Neuenswander.

Deputies arrived and detained the man, whom authorities identified as 43-year-old Andy Stannard, the sergeant said.

Deputies found and seized about 8 ounces of a substance believed to be methamphetamine, which had been hidden in various places, including magnetized compartments under the car frame and engine, Neuenswander said.

Authorities estimated the wholesale street value of the seizure at $7,000.

Stannard was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance for sales and booked at Southwest Detention Center in French Valley where he was being held in lieu of $25,000 bail, jail records state.
