I don't need cheaper flowers, fruits or vegetables, I need security for my family from illegal illegals. I'm not racist and if you haven't been to mexico say a border town they don't care how they live. Some of you might think otherwise but thats probably cause your landscapers are nice, but believe me they are not the majority. Illegals are stealing are country from us. They will work for less even when they become legal because they don't mind sharing a room with6 others so they will take less $ and that means your job to is up for grabs because employers are out mostly for themselves and their familys(nothing wrong with that). This has to stop and we need to regulate are law and find all illegals( all nationalities) fine them and kick them out for good. That way we can reward those who have waited for so long to do it the right way and let them come over with jobs awaiting. I say to you...I used to live in Vista, I have family & friends in Vista and I occasionally work in Vista. So... I know about Vista, its politics and ILLEGAL population. We all have a stake in political decisions made by even the smallest of cities, especially when it comes to ILLEGAL immigration. Something needs to be done and the steps that the city of Vista has taken is a start. It not only helps those LEGAL day laborers but it may even help curb the hiring of ILLEGAL day laborers, among any other effects it may have on cleaning up the streets and parking lots where these day laborers congregate. On another note, how is Temecula the biggest racist city in So.Cal.? What an ignorant statement from an ignorant person.

First the City needs a clerk to register the employer, then file the paper work and give the employer his certificate. The big problem comes in when the Ordinance has to be enforced. He insulted our mayor repeatedly during a telephone interview. Rick Roberts and his followers have a very limited vocabulary -- "crap" -- being their favorite word. During his tirade against Morris Vance, Rick admitted that at some time, he and KFMB paid men to go to the shopping center, photograph people hiring workers, and in some cases follow them to the work place. (Vista Citizen's Brigade?) Rick Roberts is stirring up trouble in Vista. He's a disgrace and those who follow his lead are worse. Bythe way, anyone residing in the U.S. (even as a visitor)is given the same rights as a citizen. Read your constitution.
