Crash blocks traffic on Highway 76

PALA ---- A single vehicle accident on Highway 76 near Rice Canyon Road temporarily blocked both lanes of traffic Sunday afternoon, California Highway Patrol said.
The incident occurred at 1:24 p.m. when a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass rolled on its side, trapping a person inside, CHP said.
One person was transported for medical care for possible moderate injuries, officer Jim Bettencourt said.
The lanes were open or in the process of opening as of 2:34 p.m., CHP said.
