RANCHO SANTA FE ---- Officers arrested a suspected drunken driver after a pickup truck and a car collided early Monday on Del Dios Highway in Rancho Santa Fe.
Officer Joel Arding, California Highway Patrol spokesman, said the suspect, Armando Saavedrapatrana, 22, of Encinitas, wasn't hurt in the 5:50 a.m. crash east of El Camino del Norte.
However, the other driver ---- Victor Sebastian, 61, of Escondido ---- was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for treatment of a broken left arm, Arding said.
The silver-colored Nissan Frontier pickup driven by Saavedrapatrana crossed over double yellow lines and slammed into the oncoming maroon Subaru that Sebastian was driving, said the officer.
Arding said the truck continued off the road, sideswiped a tree and hit a wooden fence before stopping.

You ever notice how the drunken scum hardly ever get hurt, and walk away unscathed from these DUI crashes, but the innocent party always gets whacked? Nice......
