Ron Hassey
Current job: None
Age: 53
The skinny: Was bench coach of Mariners past two seasons, but was fired late in 2006 after it became clear he would not return.
Trey Hillman
Current job: Nippon Ham Fighters manager
Age: 41
The skinny: One of two finalists for the Texas Rangers' job; three times was his league's manager of the year in the minors.
Ron Washington
Current job: Athletics third-base coach
Age: 54
The skinny: A player favorite and an in-house candidate in Oakland, he has been a runner-up for several jobs in recent years.
Ron Wotus
Current job: Giants bench coach
Age: 45
The skinny: Bypassed in favor of Bruce Bochy, he doesn't figure to want to stay in San Francisco.
