The victim in this crash was a dedicated US Marine and the lack of coverage and information on who this individual is shameful. For someone who diligently served this country at least his name and branch of service could have been mentioned.

I don't feel as if it was fair to just write such a short article and not get all the details. He was a wonderful person and loved by all whom came into contact with him. Words cannot express how we feel reading this. It hurts. It hurts inside to know that the many things that could have been said, should have been said, was not. Please get the story correct and redo it, for "chocolate".

SSGT USMC wrote on Jan 24, 2007 2:09 PM:I am a United States Marine who had the honor and privelage to serve with the highly dedicated Staff Sergeant whom unfortunately passed way too soon. He was full of life and was always there to help others in need and to motivate them as well. I could provide all of the information to the paper, but I challenge them to do this outstanding Staff Sergeant justice and get all of the facts especially pertaining to his devotion and service to his country. The statements made above are those of only myself and not of the Marine Corps. You will be missed terribly, but never forgotten. Semper Fidelis Brother!

This Marine wife wrote on May 30, 2007 4:00 PM:I am the wife of the Marine this article was written about.. I would like to say that this 7 word paragrah is direspectful to both me my husband and our children. My husdand was not just a motorcyclist who blocked the road for several hours WHO CARES!! my husband was a wonderful father to his 4 children and a loving husband to me and a great friend to all who knew him. This article is very insensitive and the writer seems more concerned about blocked traffic. I hope in the feature you consider the people those left behind. My kids will never see their father again and i will never see my husband of 12years again..Thats what matters most... please get the full facts before you write something like this again...
