FALLBROOK ---- A stabbing in the emergency room of Fallbrook Hospital may be domestic violence related, a sheriff's sergeant said Saturday.

The stabbing happened 7:54 p.m. Thursday at the hospital at 624 E. Elder Street, Sgt. Dave Nemeth said.

A Fallbrook man, Michael Tetu, was stabbed in the chest and leg, and a woman, Felicia Ryon of Fallbrook suffered cuts to her hand during the attack, he said.

Tetu was transferred to a trauma hospital for further treatment of his wounds, Nemeth said. Ryon was treated and released for her injuries.

Deputies were trying to confirm the identity of the suspect in the stabbing, he said. While the motive for the attack is unknown, the sheriff's domestic violence unit was notified of the incident.
