Brandon D. Howard

July 4, 1986 -- March 31, 2006

I pushed you away and held you so close because I needed you more than I ever wanted to.

You're the vibrantly bright

colored blue flower

that continues to grow in

a field of weeds.

The beautiful scene we take

pictures of to keep you

forever in our memory

A light that shines

even in the dark

Missing what once was and hanging on to what

could've been.

My son, her brother, a lover and a friend.

I love you every day.
