Jeremy Roenick had a goal and an assist to help the Phoenix Coyotes beat the visiting Los Angeles Kings 3-2 Thursday night.
Curtis Joseph made 19 saves for his first victory since March 22 and the Coyotes snapped a five-game losing streak.
Tom Kostopoulos and Michael Cammalleri scored for the Kings, who have dropped six straight.

At Vancouver, British Columbia: Milan Hejduk scored three goals, including two 4 minutes apart in the third period -- to help Colorado preserve its slim playoff hopes with a victory over Vancouver.

At San Jose: Milan Michalek and Mark Bell scored in a span of 1 minute, 40 seconds in the second period to help San Jose over Calgary.
Devils 3, Flyers 2
At Philadelphia: Martin Brodeur surpassed Bernie Parent, Philadelphia's stalwart Stanley Cup-winning goalie, for wins in a season with 48 and the Devils clinched the Atlantic Division title with a win over the Flyers.
Sabres 4, Bruins 2
At Buffalo, N.Y.: Thomas Vanek scored twice and Buffalo matched a franchise record by beating Boston for its 52nd victory.
Blackhawks 3, Red Wings 2
At Chicago: Patrick Sharp and Jason Williams scored in the shootout to lift Chicago over Detroit.
Rangers 3, Canadiens 1
At New York: Jaromir Jagr reached the 30-goal mark for the 15th straight season and added an assist to carry New York back into the playoffs with a victory over Montreal.
Islanders 5, Maple Leafs 2
At Uniondale, N.Y.: Jason Blake, Arron Asham and Miroslav Satan scored in the third period to preserve New York's faint playoff hopes with a victory over Toronto.
Penguins 3, Senators 2
At Ottawa: Maxime Talbot scored with 9.8 seconds remaining to lift Pittsburgh over Ottawa and preserve an opportunity to claim home-ice advantage in a first-round playoff series against the Senators.
Blue Jackets 2, Stars 1
At Columbus, Ohio: Rick Nash scored 1:04 into overtime and Columbus rallied to beat Dallas and snap a four-game losing streak.
Wild 3, Oilers 0
At St. Paul, Minn.: Niklas Backstrom shut out Edmonton for the second time in three days, Marian Gaborik scored his 30th goal, and Minnesota preserved slim hopes of winning the Northwest Division title.
Predators 4, Blues 1
At Nashville, Ten.: David Legwand scored two goals, Paul Kariya notched his 500th NHL assist, and Nashville snapped a three-game skid by beating St. Louis.
