Linfield point guard Taylor commits to Seattle Pacific
By: The Californian - | ∞
Linfield Christian senior guard Weston Taylor, who helped the Lions (21-9) to their first-ever CIF Southern Section championship game this winter, will be continuing his basketball career at Seattle Pacific University.
Seattle Pacific is an NCAA Division II program located in downtown Seattle. The Falcons are the two-time defending Great Northwest Athletic Conference champions and made the Division II Elite Eight in 2006.
"SPU has a really good reputation for academics and athletics," Taylor said in a statement. "I'm looking forward to participating in their high quality program."
Taylor, who averaged 12 points per game for Linfield, is planning to major in pre-law at SPU.
