Parents to discuss issues at San Marcos conference

SAN MARCOS -- The ninth annual North County Latino and Migrant Parent Conference will be held Saturday to address issues such as academic achievement, health, and drug and gang prevention.
Representatives from the county Office of Education, Palomar College and the North County Health Services also will conduct for Latino parents workshops focused on technology and the California High School Exit Exam.
The conference will take place at Palomar College, 1140 W. Mission Road from 7:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, contact Patricia Wilcox at (858) 735-8956.
