Clinton's San Diego appearance pushed up

SAN DIEGO -- New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, one of several Democratic presidential hopefuls scheduled to speak at the state party convention in San Diego next weekend, has changed her appearance from April 29 to April 28, officials said Wednesday.
State Democratic party leaders said Clinton is now expected to speak to delegates about 10 a.m. April 28 at the three-day event at the San Diego Convention Center.
The state convention is being held in San Diego County for the first time, and has gained new prominence for presidential candidates now that the state has moved its primary election up to February 2008.
The convention is not open to the public.
In addition to Clinton, senators Barack Obama of Illinois, Chris Dodd of Connecticut; Dennis Kucinich of Ohio, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California are scheduled to speak after 1:45 April 28. Pelosi is also the guest speaker at a $250-a-plate dinner that evening.
Candidates expected to speak April 29 include former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, and former Sen. Mike Gravel of Alaska.
Officials said the schedules for all the speakers are subject to change.
