Student musicians to perform concert

RANCHO BERNARDO ---- Rancho Bernardo High School will hold its end-of-the-year Concerto Concert at 7 p.m. June 17 in the RBHS Performing Arts Center, 13010 Paseo Lucido.
The free concert will feature four nationally recognized student musicians ---- violinist Keita Ishibashi, flutist Kevin Leu, vocalist Alize Rozsnyai and cellist Jennifer Shaw.
Ishibashi will perform Violin Concerto in d minor Op. 47, Movement I, by Jean Sibelius, and Leu will perform Flute Concerto in d major Op. 283, Movement III, by Carl Reinecke. Rozsnyai will perform two arias ---- the "Doll Song" from "Tales of Hoffman" by Jacques Offenbach and "Glitter and Be Gay" from "Candide" by Leonard Bernstein. Shaw will perform Cello Concerto No. 1 Op. 107, Movement I, by Dimitri Shostakovich.
