ESCONDIDO -- Linda Mary McGee, 65, died Friday, June 22, 2007, at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido.
Born Jan. 1, 1942, in Portland, Ore., she lived in San Diego County for 40 years. She was a motel manager for 20 years.
Mrs. McGee is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law Ronald Burgess of Oceanside, Richard Porter of San Marcos and David and Andrea McGee of Phoenix; daughters and son-in-law Lea Fugate of Escondido, Lynn McGee of Yuma, Arizona and Laura and Darol Johnson of Elk City, Okla.; stepdaughter Sherrill McGhee of Ackerman, Miss.; sisters Marilyn Mahler of Boise, Idaho, and Diane Pierce of Boston; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation and viewing are scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, June 28, at Allen Bros. Mortuary, San Marcos Chapel. A graveside service is planned for 1 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido. Interment will follow the service.
The family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association, 7297 Ronson Road, Suite H, San Diego, CA 92111.
Allen Bros. Mortuary, San Marcos Chapel is handling arrangements.
