LAKE SAN MARCOS -- Harold Thomas Ellerby, 95, died Thursday, June 21, 2007 at his home.
Mr. Ellerby was born in Hartford, Conn. on March 24, 1912. He served in the U. S. Navy. He retired from the Auto Club of Southern California in 1977.
Mr. Ellerby was preceded in death by his daughter Anne Ellerby Andreasen in 2005. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Helen Mason Ellerby of Lake San Marcos; daughters and sons-in-law Katie and John Andrew of Lake San Marcos; Janet Ellerby and John Clifford of Wilmington, N.C., and Ray Andreasen of Rainbow; sister and brother-in-law Jane and Boyd Farmer of Panama City, Fla.; grandchildren Martha Logue, Bob Stull, Jenny Mortensen, Merideth Fiorucci, Mark Andrew, Todd De Puy, Kezia De Puy and Helen Setzer; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Elizabeth Hospice, 150 W. Crest St., Escondido, CA, 92025.
The Neptune Society is handling arrangements.
