LEUCADIA ---- Marjorie Jean Morgan, 82, died of melonoma on Thursday, June 21, 2007, in Valley Center.
Mrs. Morgan was born Nov. 21, 1924, in Iowa. She studied art at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles. She was a partner in the Carousel Art Gallery for 30 years. She had numerous solo art shows and won many awards for her art. She is represented in private collections across the United States, Canada, Europe and South America.
Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her grandson Jason Lee Morgan. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert L. Morgan of Leucadia; son Ronald Morgan of Julian; daughter and son-in-law Monti and Tom Armstrong of Valley Center; and two grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
