SAN MARCOS ---- Roy W. Olson, 91, died of pulmonary fibrosis on Tuesday, June 19, 2007.
Mr. Olson was born in Minneapolis, Minn., on Nov. 15, 1915. He lived in San Marcos for 33 years. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees and the Sheriff's Senior Patrol. He was the owner-operator of a disposal company until his retirement in 1980.
Mr. Olson is survived by his wife of 66 years, Janet of San Marcos; son and daughter-in-law John and Arleen Olson of Irvine; daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Joe Lambrose of Mission Viejo; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 8, at La Moree Estates Club House.

Accu-Care Cremation Center is handling arrangements.
