CARLSBAD ---- Robert Phillip Wick, 44, died of melanoma cancer on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at home.
Mr. Wick was born in Oceanside on Sept. 6, 1962. He earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and master's degree in public administration. He was a retired Carlsbad police officer. In 1997 he was San Diego County's Law Enforcement Officer of the year. He was the CEO and founder of Crime Scene Technologies.
Mr. Wick is survived by his wife of four years, Stephanie Wick of Carlsbad; son Chase Wick of Carlsbad; and daughter Megan Wick of Charleston, S.C.
No public services are planned.
Accu-Care Cremation Center is handling arrangements.
