VISTA ---- Samuel Lujan Vallez, 79, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007.
Mr. Vallez was born Nov. 28, 1927, in Los Angeles. He lived in Vista for 79 years.
Mr. Vallez was preceded in death by his daughter Pauline Ann Vallez. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Virginia Vallez; daughters and sons-in-law Donna and Ramon Hernandez of Hemet, Cathy and Joel Aspeytia of Carlsbad, and Nancy and Larry Herrera of Gardena; sons Sammy Vallez, Jr. and Danny Vallez both of Vista; sons and daughters-in-law Victor and Cyndy Vallez of Monmouth, Ore., and Eddie and Josie Vallez of Hemet; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 5 at Eternal Hills Mortuary, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside. Services will be Friday, July 6, at 10 a.m. at Eternal Hills Mortuary.
