BONSALL -- Sharon K. Meers, 65, died July 14, 2007.
Mrs. Meers was born on May 30, 1942 in Waterloo, Iowa. She was an administrative assistant for the North County Fire District in Fallbrook. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Fallbrook and a member of its choir. She was a member of Bonsall Women's Club and Curves.
Mrs. Meers was preceded in death by her father Elwood Holdridge and step-father Leo Koller. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Meers of Bonsall; mother Deloris Koller of Hesperia; daughter and son-in-law Ranel and Charles Van Deraa of Kingsland, Ga.; son Ronnie Meers of Lebanon, Ore.; son and daughter-in-law Randy and Kay Meers of Temecula; sister Linda Taylor of Maui, Hawaii; sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Blane Chambers of Hesperia; brothers and sisters-in-law Ron and Judy Holdridge or Rancho Cucamonga and Gregg and Sharon Holdridge of Aguanga; and eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nephews and nieces.
There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Fallbrook. Interment will be in Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Fallbrook Firefighters Association (Widows and Orphans) P. O. Box 553, Fallbrook CA 92088-0553.
Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary is handling arrangements.
