An Island Divided ...

Playing the race card is the name of the game for this season's set of survivors.

Given the current political climate, is it wise for the next season of reality show Survivor to divide their contestants along race lines?

The next season of Survivor, which in the past has divided competitive teams by age and sex, CBS says this year they will divide their teams into four categories: white, black, Asian and Latino.

Is CBS trying to push the country's red-hot button of illegal immigration thinking this will drive ratings further than ever? Or are they just politically clueless?

Of course, we know that if the show was run by the Marie Waldron and the Escondido City Council, the Latino team would have to show their papers before given a tent.

Even with a major sponsor dropping out, CBS will still rake in the green -- and did a marketing coup by having all the free publicity across the various networks, newspapers and water coolers. A smart marketing move. Simply genious.

These are all words that are synonimous with CBS' new Suvivor show. In a time when people of ALL kinds need to come together as one, you seperate them based on ethnicity (or are you saying that they are different races?)!!! A terrible ploy to get ratings. But that's alright, the Devil's favorite sins are greed and vanity...
