Brush fire in Valley Center

VALLEY CENTER ---- A brush fire broke out in Valley Center at about 9:30 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Valley Center Road and North Lake Wohlford Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Firefighters were called to the scene shortly after the fire started and people in the area were trying to douse the flames, according to the CHP.
No further information was available as of 11 a.m.
