The freshman turned in the best time by a North County girl at the Mt. SAC Invitational, completing the 3.0-mile course in 17 minutes, 32 seconds.

Playing with Madison Phillips, the freshman won three doubles sets against Mission Hills and three singles sets against San Marcos, including a 6-3, 6-1, 6-0 upset of previously unbeaten Lacey Smyth.

Playing No. 1 doubles with Marannee Scottolini, she won three sets in a 10-8 Valley League win over Escondido. Playing No 3 doubles with Abby Loranger, she won three sets in an 11-7 victory over Valley Center.

She scored eight goals last week, including a four-goal performance in a match against Orange Glen.

He scored three times on runs of 7, 20 and 46 yards on only seven carries as the Eagles beat Orange Glen to win The Battle of the Bear.

He touched the ball twice and scored both times in a Valley League win over Ramona. He scored on a 44-yard pass reception and a 63-yard punt return.

She had 11 kills and three blocks in a win over San Diego Jewish Academy and eight kills, eight blocks and a pair of aces win a win over San Pasqual Academy.

She had a pair of goals in a 4-0 Avocado League win over Vista and a goal in a key league win over Fallbrook.

He had 17 goals and five assists over three games last week, including a 10-goal performance against Orange Glen.

He finished second in the Large Schools Division of the Jaguar Invitational, running the 3.1-mile course in 16 minutes, 29 seconds. He was 4 seconds off the first-place time and 17 seconds ahead of the third-place finisher.

San Pasqual > Girls golf

She won the seven-team Bill Strasser Memorial City Cup Tournament, shooting an 18-hole-78 at the Escondido Country Club. She also shot a 1-over-par 36 at the Vineyard CC in a Valley League win over Orange Glen.

Escondido Charter > Girls volleyball

She had six kills and six digs in a win over Guajome Park Academy and nine kills and five service aces in a win over Christian Life Academy.

Lindsey Brewer

She had nine kills and five aces in a key Valley League win over Ramona and eight kills and an ace in a win over Orange Glen.
