Aztecs move indoors

SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego State football team will resume practice today for the first time since the escalation of the firestorms when it holds two indoor workouts at the Aztec Recreation Center.
Wearing tennis shoes on the on-campus facility's four basketball courts, the Aztecs will hold full-team drills in the morning and split-squad sessions in the afternoon. Air quality conditions are not expected to improve enough to allow outdoor practices.
The time and location of future practices will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
The Aztecs now have nearly a week and a half to prepare for their next game, Nov. 3 against Wyoming at Qualcomm Stadium. Its game against Brigham Young, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, has been moved to Dec. 1.
