Carlsbad Community Theatre classes set

CARLSBAD ---- Carlsbad Community Theatre is offering a "Disney's High School Musical" workshop and beginning acting classes.
The workshop, for youngsters 6 to 12 years old, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 7, 8, 10, 14, 15 and 17 at Hope Elementary School, 3010 Tamarack Ave., Carlsbad. Cost is $100.
Acting 101 classes for 10- to 18-year-olds will be offered from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 7 to March 10 (no class Jan. 21 and Feb. 18), in the drama room at Aviara Oaks Middle School, 6880 Ambrosia Lane, Carlsbad; and from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 9 to March 12 (no class Jan. 23 and Feb. 20), in the multipurpose room at Hope Elementary School, 3010 Tamarack Ave., Carlsbad. Cost is $150.
