Quake with preliminary magnitude of 4.4 recorded near Red Bluff

RED BLUFF, Calif. -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.4 has shaken Northern California.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake hit at 9:18 about 27 miles west of Red Bluff and 34 miles southwest of Redding.
A dispatcher with the Red Bluff Police Department says she didn't feel the temblor, and there have been no reports of any damage or injuries.
