LOCAL COLLEGES: MSJC women down Chaffey

The Mt. San Jacinto women's softball scored twice in the third inning and three times in the sixth Wednesday to put away Chaffey, 5-1, in the Eagles' season finale at MSJC-Menifee.

Lynsie Caldwell, a freshman pitcher from West Valley High School, got the win in the circle for the Eagles (14-19-1, 8-4 Foothill Conference).

Sophomore catcher Caitlin Heath went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, a double, and a triple. Jazmine Jones, a sophomore from Murrieta Valley, went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
