eLocal names new COO
TEMECULA ---- Dan Meyerson has been named chief operating officer for eLocal Listing, a Temecula-based company that specializes in managing Internet marketing campaigns for small- and medium-sized businesses.
Meyerson has been with the company since fall 2007, has served as a consultant overseeing the customer care division and has worked to improve telesales. He will now take over the company's day-to-day operations.
Meyerson has more than 25 years' experience in advertising and telemarketing.
"We are thrilled to have him join our team. He is a world-class talent with a track record second to none," Tim Judd, eLocal president and CEO, said in a news release.
Jet set chef directory expands
MURRIETA ---- Jet-Chef.com has expanded its online search directory to more than 150 members in an effort to offer top-quality chefs and caterers to those traveling in private jets.
The online directory is free to jet owners, pilots, flight attendants, jet charter companies and brokers looking for in-flight catering, personal chef services and fine wines and foods.
Other suppliers, such as florists, wineries, cabin supply vendors and aircraft entertainment specialists, will be added to the Web site to assist visitors with travel needs.
Jet-Chef.com, owned by Murrieta-based International Marketing Associates Inc., seeks to fill what it sees as a growing need among the jet set.
"The private jet industry continues to grow. ... There are more than 5,000 airports in the U.S. that will need to serve this growing market," said Kelly Alvarez, president of International Marketing Associates.
Olive oil company opens new location
TEMECULA ---- The Temecula Olive Oil Co. has expanded its operations, adding a location in San Diego.
The company, which has prided itself on selling 100 percent California-grown olive oils and artisan foods, has developed a solid customer base in the area, and owners hope to do the same in San Diego.
Along with its signature olive oils, the company also sells spreads, herbs and spices, sea salts, chocolates, salsas and teas. It also carries bath and body items such as lip balms, soaps and lotions.
