SAN MARCOS: Local woman on 'Today Show'

SAN MARCOS --- San Marcos resident Lisa Druxman, founder of Stroller Strides, will appear on the "Today Show" at 7 a.m. Tuesday on KNSD/Channel 39, to talk about her business, her two children and her role as a mother. Stroller Strides is a stroller-based postnatal exercise, social and bonding program for mothers with newborn children.
Druxman is one of 15 semi-finalists for a "Teleflora presents America's Favorite Mom" contest. Three finalists will be featured each day this week and the finalist who receives the most viewer votes will be honored in a special Mother's Day program at 7 p.m. Sunday on KNSD.
Votes can be cast through Friday at www.nbc.com.
