VISTA: Two suspected in grocery story robbery
Couple arrested, one suspect at large

VISTA ---- A Vista couple were arrested Saturday night after a deputy spotted Arizona license plates on their car and connected the vehicle to a May robbery at a grocery store, officials said.
Manuel Palacio, 33, and his girlfriend Maria Angeles, 27, were driving in the 300 block of West Los Angles Drive when Deputy Paul Michalke recognized the car from the descriptions given by witnesses of a May 29 robbery at the Stater Bros. on East Vista Way, Sgt. Jeff Maxin said.
On Saturday, the couple were in the getaway car used by three robbers, one of whom brandished a gun at a store employee after the employee tried to stop him from leaving with a cart filled with groceries that had not been paid for, Maxin said.
Michalke stopped the car and took Palacio and Angeles into custody, Maxin said. The couple appear in surveillance video obtained during the robbery investigation and, after their arrests Saturday, made statements tying them to the robbery, Maxin said.
A third man, the one who brandished the gun, is still being sought, Maxin said.

You folks definitely earn your pay, with all the gang activity and other crime which has invaded Vista in the past thirty years or so.
Vista, like most of southern California used to be relatively crime-free.
I hope it's not too late to see days like that again some day . . .

I blogged earlier and it wasn't posted...I said to be sure to give the two arrested names of places where they can get help for purchasing food. I hope these two stop their crime here and move forward like law abiding citizens.

I'll pull out before.
George Bush has made these statements to our nation on numerous occasions.
Why haven't we invaded that desert and made it our trash can. We are "consolidating" nuclear waste from other countries in Utah and other places. Clearly all of you which have written in see the light. All the predictions are coming true, if you want to continue to live in the land of prosperity and enjoy the fruits of democrocy and capatalism, we need to do something now, before a screwdriver in your back.
