Conservative voices are important, too
I don't usually respond to a response because I feel different views are important. Mr. Mike Griffith (July 8) misread my letter (July 1). I have seen this happen many times to others. I felt it was time to speak up.
People, please go back and reread all mail you do not agree with. I don't object to all conservative writers, just poor-quality ones. I don't care for Maureen Dowd, liberal, for the same reason. Space limits prevent saying everything that's needed. I apologize for not naming a liberal writer before. I do object to giving a man who committed a felony against the citizens of this country space in a public newspaper, no matter what his politics are. I did not criticize North's content, just his crime.
All opinions are important. It is the quality of chosen writers that I find objectionable. Anti-Semitism is never OK. I thought we settled that back in the 1960s. I never said I would stop reading the North County Times, I just won't spend money on it. The Internet allows me to access to NCT news, opinions, etc.
Mr. Griffith, don't stop writing, don't stop caring.

La Raza's fleecing of America
July 8 was proclaimed "National Council of La Raza (the race) Day" in San Diego by Mayor Jerry Sanders and the ... City Council. Why would they give a day of honor to what many Americans and American Hispanics consider to be an ethnocentric, divisive, anti-American ... group? La Raza has pushed hard for amnesty for over 20 million ... illegal aliens, as well as opposing federal enforcement of immigration laws. They have strongly opposed the border fence and demanded in-state tuition and driver's licenses for illegal aliens. La Raza has even demanded separatist, taxpayer-funded schools teaching Hispanics ... "Reconquista" in Tucson, Ariz., and elsewhere.
But La Raza was in San Diego this week for its annual convention and to push politicians for more taxpayer-funded benefits for Hispanics. ... Follow the money and see your tax dollars at work.
It's time to expose La Raza for what it really is –– the largest group in America pushing for the merging of Mexico and America into the North American Union through illegal migration.

Diplomacy is our only option
I do not normally talk with people who equate criticism of Israeli foreign policy with anti-Semitism. I don't care what/if a person's religion is. But with the current rumors of a proxy war between Israel and Iran just in time for our election, some things need to be said.
For one thing, Israel is the nation with nuclear weapons, missiles and a massive well-financed military. They have just erected a giant concrete barrier around their country. They are now trying to starve Gaza into submission. Palestinian land is constantly being swallowed up in new Israeli settlements. Checkpoints and military raids against Palestinians are ongoing in the West Bank. Israel used (American) cluster bombs against Lebanese civilians in their last invasion of that country.
Jerusalem was illegally occupied in 1967 –– it is still occupied. The Arabs living in Palestine in 1948 did not "voluntarily leave." They were forcibly expelled. And if the U.S. allows Israel to attack a nation just now certified to have no nuclear weapons at all, we will plunge all of the Middle East into even more of a hell on Earth. Diplomacy has to be our one and only option. End all the wars.

McCain is the disgrace
So now John McCain thinks the Social Security system is a "disgrace"? As the husband of a wealthy heiress, flying around the country on her private jet, he obviously has no idea how much this program means to most seniors.
The fact that he would use language like this to describe such an essential financial lifeline for millions of people is the disgrace. We need a president who will work to sustain Social Security, not tear it down.

The noise of freedom is a bargain
Some complain of the Camp Pendleton noise, but my, what a bargain –– freedom!
In sharp contrast, we have the Oceanside airport that a nonproducer is using land that could be highly productive. How can our City Council sit idly by like potted palms when airport proponents have failed completely to justify their clams of great benefits? The council should take formal action to negotiate an agreement with the FAA. Don't elect anyone to the council who dooms the city to years of noise, pollution, danger, lost revenue.

Sunrise Powerlink on thin line
The Sunrise Powerlink, if installed, will be tragic indeed. Single towers strung across the desert with wires attached from tower to tower. Instead let's put wind turbines all over the desert areas like the ones on Interstate 10, just above the Coachella Valley. These massive structures are impressive and ugly. ... This forest of turbines grab the natural wind as it flows into the valley. The now-slowed winds that make it past the turbines will not be strong enough to cool the valley floor, and the people who live there will have to crank up their AC units to compensate. So more electricity will be needed and, therefore, more turbine forests.
Despite the carbon footprint to build these massive structures, and the global warming wind loss, people want to see and use them. Or, we can install solar panels all over the place. It will take hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of square miles of solar panels to produce enough electricity for all of the people. The solar energy that is supposed to be absorbed by the Earth will now be converted to electricity. Despite the carbon footprint to manufacture these expensive panels, the global cooling energy loss and the cost of maintenance, people want to see and use them. Nuclear power.

Candidate doesn't speak for me!
I was at the City Council meeting in 2006 and saw Olga Diaz's outrageous attack on Marie Waldron. Olga's attitude was disgusting. ... Olga Diaz-McCullock ... is married to an Escondido police officer! Could that be a conflict of interest for Escondido when she is against the sweeps and the traffic checkpoints? Is she pro-illegal alien and for open borders and five unrelated people living in a two-bedroom, one-bath apartment? Does she agree with Bill Flores, who was a former assistant county sheriff?
I am for the sweeps and the traffic checkpoints. I want our streets to be safe from those who break our laws. I remember how Escondido was before our first lady mayor was elected in 1977. We didn't have gang shootings or ugly graffiti. Each City Council that followed didn't care that our city was being invaded. Some of those former council members have jumped on Olga's bandwagon!
This City Council and the police chief should be supported for working to protect all citizens of Escondido. My friends and family say thank you, Sam, Ed, Marie and Dick, for what you are doing to make our city safe.

We need more checkpoints
I just got back from Long Beach and, man, it looks more like TJ, Mexico, every day. Three or four families in all the apartments, while thousands of good Americans are living homeless, jobless and hopeless, what a joke. It's even 100 times worse than Vista and Escondido. Why in God's name would Mexico change a thing? They just send their people up here to have a kid or two, get on California welfare and food stamps and almost-free housing, and bring the rest of the family and friends along. And we do nothing. ...
The fact is, we Americans are under invasion and we need many, many more checkpoints all over the Southwest United States and inland enforcement and deportation to stop this intrusion of illegals who are invading by the thousands a week. And every American has a right to stop this invasion. What a mess! Surf's up!

Doubts about Barack's character
I think it is extremely unfair, even criminal, that Barack Obama's deceptive use of pledges to ace out Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary, only to knowingly flip-flop back to the center to remain in good stead with his impassioned apologists, not be punished to the fullest. It is surely a reflection of his true character. To gain office by such cowardly methods does not portray the image of a man we want to represent our wonderful country.
We have all witnessed the unfolding of events in this man's life that cast grave doubts on his honesty and transparency. His wife's Freudian slip only adds to the elitist atmosphere this family has chosen to shelter from the common folk, whom they claim to represent.
I'm sure there is no such thing as impeachment in the primary process, but maybe guidelines should be reviewed to let future candidates know that blatant lying will not be tolerated.

Some roads should be off-limits to bicycles
Steve Stults, in his recent letter (July 5) in regards to bicycle rules of the road, omitted one very dangerous issue, that of cyclists riding on roads that are just too narrow and, thereby, too dangerous for the coexistence of cars and bicycles. Some of our secondary country roads should be designated as off-limits to bicycle riders.
I travel with some regularity on a certain winding, back-country road that has a bike lane no more than eight inches in width in some spots. When I see bicycle riders on this road, and other roads like it, I figure they must have a death wish. If bike riders like this like to live on the edge, that's fine, but a car driver should not be put in the position wherein, through no fault of his own, he might well have to endure the emotional nightmare and possible lawsuit arising from having hit and badly injured a bicycle rider. Again, the answer is to make some roads off-limits to bike riders.

Rabbits don't belong at market
I was extremely disappointed today when I visited the Carlsbad farmers market and found a booth selling live dwarf rabbits. No application process, no instructions on how to properly care for a rabbit and no screening of the potential owners. Just merchandise being sold for a price. No thought to what would be in the best interest of the bunnies. No concern that the large percentage of bunnies sold will no doubt become neglected or worse when the novelty wears off.
Having worked actively in animal rescue for many years, I can tell you that responsible rescue groups always screen potential adopters to make certain the animal will be treated humanely and appropriately. Simply selling a living creature for profit is reprehensible.
In a society like ours, where animals are treated as throwaway objects, I'm surprised that the organizers of the farmers market would condone and promote the breeding and selling of pets. In this county or country? we kill 5 million to 9 million homeless animals every year, including rabbits. Which makes the selling of them in a family venue even more inappropriate and profoundly sad. ...

Remember their votes in November
I attended the Fallbrook Public Utility District meetings on June 26 and June 30. One person at the June 23 meeting asked if FPUD would provide any water to any project on Highway 76, and [the answer was] no. FPUD, at that time, was negotiating contracts with Orange Grove Energy, a power plan, to sell huge quantities of water to them for use in nitrous oxygen control and inlet cooling.
Orange Grove Energy's power plant is to be located inside Campus Park West's proposed development of 107 acres at the NE corner of the Highway 76 and Interstate 15 (power plant project was reviewed in 2007 by the Energy Resource Conservation and Development Commission). Orange Grove Energy will provide needed power to that proposed development.
Fallbrook's Planning Commission recently rejected Campus Park West's proposals due to their lack of power and water. FPUD's directors have made it clear to me that they do not work for the good of those average citizens of Fallbrook located in their service area. I hope we all remember in November and vote them all out of office. It would be great to have a new board and new general manager who actually want Fallbrook to remain the avocado capital of the world.

Social Security never meant to be investment
Social Security is a retirement program designed to provide elderly Americans with a guaranteed source of retirement income. For many, it is their only source of retirement income. Given the rising inequality of wealth in this country, the demise of pensions, flat wages, inflation, job insecurity and soaring health care, this social safety net is more important than ever.
Social Security does redistribute wealth. Those at the bottom of the economic scale get a better percentage back than those at the top. The many who benefit from this program are staunch supporters.
For decades, the Cato Institute and the Heritage Foundation, among others, have waged a propaganda war against the program. They wish to undermine public confidence in the future of Social Security by telling the public that Social Security is going broke, that the program is in a crisis and it won't be solvent for future generations when they retire.
The reason for the assault on Social Security is a hostility to progressive taxation and redistribution of wealth. Privatization would be a boon for the financial industry. Social Security was never meant to be an investment program, which, by its nature, means more risk.

Stop citizen political slavery
To Richard Riehl, "Joy of gay marriages cheered on 4th," July 4: U.S. citizens are not free! The 1787 U.S. Constitution makes U.S. ordinary citizens and political slaves of the U.S. Congress, president, judiciary and Supreme Court, because the U.S. Constitution endows and empowers those government entities with the constitutional power to make laws, findings, regulations and rulings without permission and approval of U.S. ordinary citizens.
And [we spend] 13 hours every two years on Election Day to put lying politicians in U.S. public office, after which U.S. citizens become political slaves again; this is not freedom! Citizen freedom can be accomplished only by adding to the Constitution a citizens referendum amendment that gives U.S. ordinary citizens the constitutional power to oversee, reject, stop and throw out unpalatable laws, members of Congress, presidents and judiciary and Supreme Court judges at any time and stop citizen political slavery.

'Fun puns' not funny at the county fair
What happened to the concept that fine art elicits a variety of emotions from the viewer? The display of fine art at the fair did not trust the visitor to experience the art created by the artists. The exhibitors chose to label the displays with their humor. First of all, I came upon a grouping of paintings of roosters, baby chicks and graceful female figures displayed together with a large placard stating, "Hot Chicks." On another wall hung a display of miniature artworks labeled "Little League." Unbelievably, a very moving award-winning sculpture of an angel rising from the ashes, utilizing the burned debris from the Rice Fire, was labeled, "Grand Slam." I found all these quips and puns very distracting.
The fair workers informed me that art is supposed to be "fun" at the fair. Consequently, they felt moved to create a humorous quip in front of each display. Please allow the visitors to experience another emotion other than humor upon viewing art at the fair.

Governor throws another political football
California's governor means well, but I have seen schools used as political footballs all my life. You can judge how I feel about algebra for all eighth-graders by this story I used to tell in class on occasion.
The high school freshman came home with his report card and his father was looking at it. The father asked, "How come you got an F in algebra? That's disgraceful. Say something to me in algebra." The freshman responded with "Pi r squared." The father shouted, "No wonder you flunked algebra. Pie aren't square, pie are round. Cornbread are square."

Fact Checker and the Poor wrote on Jul 16, 2008 8:20 AM:Fact Checker yesterday gave us data showing that the average poor person in the USA is much better off than the poor are elsewhere, and that there are many "welfare" programs that support them. What can we conclude from this? If we think of an "average" poor American, shall we think s/he should not complain but should think of some Somalian and feel rich? Should we forget about the half of the population of poor Americans that are below the average? Maybe we should have contempt for the poor, since they are so well off, at our expense, and could easily do otherwise if they weren't intent on conning the system? I suspect that Fact Checker, if s/he had the power, would make deep and wide cuts in programs for the poor, so that they would resemble more closely the poor elsewhere. Fact Checker's post about this seems to say: hey, people, you have no reason to even give the poor in America even the slightest though; if you feel any pangs of concern for them, get over them, those feelings are not deserved. The poor are doing great and if you must think of them, think of them with contempt and vote to make them even poorer.
Not only that Follow the leader wrote on Jul 16, 2008 8:28 AM:Thanks very much for pointing out the truth: that Obama has displayed the better judgment on foreign policy since at least 2002. While Bush and McCain were yammering about WMDs and how we'd be greeted as liberators and how Iraq would be a cakewalk, Obama said consistently that we needed to focus on Afghanistan, where those who attacked us were. Then, finally, after years, Bush and McCain changed their minds and decided to increase the numbers of our troops in Iraq, and violence decreased, these two acted like it was VE-Day and they'd been brilliant military tacticians. Puh-lease. Now, Follow is correct, in opposition to everything he has said on the matter (and in agreement with Obama's position all along) Bush is getting us involved in negotiations with Iran over their nuclear programs. Bush, comically, says, however, that our diplomat in these talks is "not talking, just listening". This to preserve Bush's ego, of course. Anyone who thinks the US ambassador will sit in the room silently has to be related to W, so preposterous is this idea. So many people jumped on his statement in a press conference that he would be willing to "refine" his position based on information from the front lines, that he had to make a second press conference to clarify the misunderstanding and state that there was no change in his position. It was, and always has been, that when he takes office there will be a change in the mission, which will be to safely bring our troops home "as careful in getting out as we were careless getting in." This means that, in implementing the new mission, he will listen to commanders on the ground, but he - not they - will set the mission, and they - not he - will execute it. He also reserved the right to reevaluate regional security needs, including military options. Again, this was not a flip-flop. MSNBC ran a montage of clips from debates (which rang familiar since I had watched all of them), in which Obama had said the same thing over the last 18 months. As he has said, those who think he changed his position haven't been paying attention to his past statements. Either that, or these Kool-Aid drinking dittoheads get all their "news" from Limbaugh, O'Reilly and Faux News.
Same with the FISA Act. He did not change his position. He was against telecom immunity before, and still is. But one thing about voting for Senate bills, sometimes you vote for a Bill despite some details you disagree with because it has other things you want passed. While I disagree with him on this one, it does not represent a change in his position.
Now, do we want to go over all the flip-flops by McCain, which DO reflect substantial changes in actual policies regarding the Bush tax cuts for the rich, torture, offshore drilling, immigrants' rights, environment, Viagra/contraception parity, and the role of extremist Christian pastors?
If flip-flopping is the criterion for candidate acceptability, McCain is completely disqualified.

Literally THOUSANDS of executions already this year in Mexico, with uncooperative police and rival gangs being the main targets. These crimes are committed by the same thugs who bring both the illegal aliens and drugs to the US, and who are beginning to operate openly in the US through their affiliated gangs, using kidnapping and murder of US citizens (primarily of Mexican origin), rape and murder of hostages and illegal Latino aliens of many countries being smuggled into the US, and murder of rival gang members in the US. The number of “rape trees” are growing, and the use of contraceptives is being urged for women willing to take the chance.
Wounded Mexican police are being treated in US hospitals in El Paso, but must be guarded so that gang members from Mexico do not execute them in their hospital beds, as they do in Mexico.
The Mexican narco-crime wave is moving north, not because of geo-political reasons, but for the same reason Willie Sutton robbed banks – this is where the money is. Latinos, and particularly illegal Latinos are the primary victims, because they are least likely to go to the police.

I wonder why that is?
He calls the extremist radical term "partial birth abortion" a "commonly accepted term."
It is not.
It is not accepted in medical terms.
The correct medical terminology, and the only term used in medical circles, is "intact dilation and extraction." Asteroid dismisses this as a "PC" term but, in fact, it is correct medical terminology. The radical term "partial birth" was coined by propagandists trying demonize a medical procedure, and would be tantamount to calling cataract surgery "eye-stabbing lens destruction."
Yes, heart, brain and eye surgery improve the quality of lives.
So do abortions for the right person under the right circumstance.
I will repeat a question I have asked in the past. EEG brain waves (as distinguished from routine cell electrical activity that occurs in all cells, including sperms and eggs before fertilization) do not commence until about the 24th week of pregnancy, near the end of the 2nd trimester.
If the cessation of EEG brain waves qualifies for a clinical determination of being "brain dead" at the end of life, how can you call abortion prior to that point in the 2nd trimester the killing of a human person?
And if intact dilation and extraction is the least invasive method for the woman, why should that method be prohibited in the 2nd trimester?
And you will note that I have not used any name-calling, because I can discuss issues and ideas and I don't need to stoop to that level.

Nearly three-quarters of the “poor” own a car, and 31% own TWO cars. 78% have a DVD or a VCR, and 82% have satellite reception or cable TV. A third of the “poor” have both a cell phone and a landline phone. A third have a telephone answering device.

Your double-standard mentality shows how fragile your little male ego is.
You talk about the "language of murder."
Excuuuuuuse me, but if something is occupying the most private part of your body and you don't want it there, you have the right to remove it. I guarantee, if something were occupying the most private part of your anatomy for 9 minutes much less 9 months, and you didn't want it there, you'd pull out your 2nd amendment rights, blast it away, and call it "self-defense."
And you didn't answer my question.
How can you "murder" something that doesn't have measurable EEG brain waves, so meets the standard of not being alive?
Yeah, I know, keep 'em barefoot and pregnant.
Your goal is a return to male domination over females and, as always, you want to use women's sexuality and anatomy as the weapon of subjugation, because when it comes to brains, you really can't compete on an equal footing.
A man of quality (of which there are many) is not threatened by a woman of equality.

Here are the facts, according to The last US census:
-The poor make up 12.7% of the population.
-Out of that 28.3% were single women.
-35% of the poor population is made up of children under the age of 18.
-10.5% white, 33.2% Black, 28.9% Hispanic, 9,8% Asian. Poverty has risen each of the last for years, after decreasing for the previous 12 years.
The reason why American poor live in larger dwellings, is because Americans build apartments, and homes larger than most other countries, not because American poor have more to spend. American poor have air conditioners, so what? Do they use them? Many homes come with them, but that doesn't mean they are used. Poor have two cars, again so what? They may be the same cars they have driven fro years and have no payments. They may have been handed down, etc...we don't know. Many of your "facts" are baseless assumptions, not facts. That's why LBJ could run a war, run NASA, his "Great Society", and whatever else he could dream up.
The point being, times have changed, Buddy. Get with the program here. In the 1960's we began to see a shift from on-shore to off-shore. Prior, everyone and their brother's wanted to buy "American", and that's not simply the case anymore. When you got the whole game going for ya, a never ending stream of tax dollars because nobody is competing with you directly, then Yes.. you could tax to the hilt, everyone still made some money, and although some grumbled, it was the cost of doing business.
Not any more.
By the time Reagan hit the scene, tax cuts were the only way to get the economy moving again. With other nations subsidizing their own industries, we needed to catch a break, and Reagan helped give it to us, with the help of a Democrat Congress & a Republican Senate, no less.
To those who say we need to return to the days when government taxed like that, is just plain old crazy.

Obamawhiners will cry that their man is for change and hope, but the American voter isn't stupid.
Given current conditions even I -- a trained political scientist, historian and journalist -- can state that this should be a huge Democratic year.
But, it isn't. In the final analysis two elements will beat Obama -- 1. His total lack of experience…THE WASHINGTON POST POLL TODAY HAS 72% TO 48% STATE THAT McCAIN WILL BE A BETTER COMMANDER -IN-CHIEF.
2. White voters lie to pollsters when asked if they are for a black candidate.
This is the Bradley Effect -- Black Tom Bradley had a large lead in the polls against George Deumejian but lost on Election Day because white voters lie to pollsters when a black candidate is involved.
Also, as McCaqin said yesterday, Obama embarrasses flip-floppers all over the world.
It is one thing to vote against tax cuts in 2002-3 and change ones mind when record revenues to the federal government are produced by those very tax cuts. That’s a wise change of mind.
It is one thing to oppose oil drilling off the coast in 2000 and be affected by gas at $4.50 a gallon and $140-a- barrel oil. That’s a wise change of mind.
It is another thing to blatantly vote for bill-killing labor union sponsored amendments to a compromise immigration bill (McCain-Kennedy) then to look Latinos in the eye, like Obama did, and say he is for comprehensive immigration reform.

As for "permitting it to be placed there" I presume you, therefore, automatically concede that in all instances of rape, incest, or underage pregnancy lacking validity of consent, that you permit abortion in all such cases? If not, why did you say what you did?
And if a woman consents to sex, but not pregnancy, the same applies to use of birth control which fails.
Please understand, consent to sexual intimacy is NOT consent to pregnancy, even though you know that it is a possible outcome, any more than riding in a car is consent to a crash, even though you know that is a possible outcome. And if the car crash occurs, I presume that since the person "consented" to that known risk, that therefore you would deny them any medical remedy?
And guess what? The woman is a fully sentient human person, not your personal sex object.
Even if she did want to get pregnant and just changed her mind, SO WHAT?
It is HER BODY, HER CHOICE.
She is a fully sentient human person; the first and second trimester zygote/embryo/fetus is a collection of living cells, like a sperm or egg, but has NONE of the actual qualities of human personhood that qualitatively distinguish human persons from other life forms (including pre-person human life forms).
In contrast, a baby that has been born has ALL of the actual attributes of a human person, though in primitive form, and, more important, IS NO LONGER OCCUPYING THE MOST PRIVATE PART OF A WOMAN'S PERSONAL ANATOMY.

You know, when Reagan took command, he faced a Democrat Congress with way more Democrats holding seats, than Nancy Pelosi is right now. He did, however have a Republican controlled Senate for the first 6 years of his presidency, which didn't hurt.
But we get the same old whining about how they were out manuevered in politics, as to reasons why they failed.
I mean, the question I would ask if The Democrats did offer competing budget proposals to Reagan's, which called for LESS SPENDING than Reagan's, why didn't the press it? Why not shut down Congress over an outrageous budget?
And two..
Let's take Wizzer at his word, they wrangled out 16 billion in cuts.
The Reagan Era debt is $3 trillion, folks. You take the 16 billion times it by the 8 years, and you get: $128 billion. It's a drop in the bucket.
So you see.. the real story here is, they might have wanted a somewhat smaller budget, but not by that much. And Wizzer knows this.
And then to whine & complain about 3 Senators who were good at their game, come on.
If you look at what the Democrats actually proposed in the Reagan years, we would still be trillions in debt. And that is just a fact.
I will say this about Reagan though, in going into debt, he invested in our Nation's future. A military that was second to none, which I consider infrastructure to this country.
Or we could go back to the Clinton & Carter years, when military infrastructure was allowed to decay on the vine.
And you know what is interesting to watch. Base Closure hearings. I sit there and watch as all the Democrat Congress people, and Senators come out in droves and talk about why they can't close this base, or that base in their district or state.
So for all of you who think big military budgets are only the fault of Republicans, and the "War Machine", I just help you to understand who wants this big machine too.
In fact, Raytheon who makes Tomahawk missiles is based in Massachusetts.
I wonder who is representing that great State? Hmmmmm...

Under Ike, JFK and LBJ we had prosperity because workers and consumers were empowered - "bubble up."
Under the Republicans who followed, moving jobs overseas (what Ron euphemistically calls "shift from on-shore to off-shore"), eviscerating unions, removing consumer and worker protections, the broad base of consumers to create demand was assaulted.
Ron notes that the current tax cuts for the rich make it impossible to replicate the prosperity of the years of Ike, JFK and LBJ, but misses the obvious solution: return to what worked!
Support the Obama proposal of cutting taxes for the broadest segment of the base, 95% of most people, and raise taxes on those who take the most from the system but don't want to pay for it.
Ron credits Reagan's tax cuts as "the only way to get the economy going again."
Baloney. Reagan created a temporary "feel-good" economy based on borrowing and debt.
You max out your credit cards, you feel pretty good while you're spending. But then the bills come due, and other than the reprieve of Clinton fiscal responsibility, Republicans like Ron just want to keep digging and digging. Like Ron said recently, "STOP DIGGING."
