ESCONDIDO ---- A 56-year-old Escondido woman is in jail after police say she was caught with methamphetamine and heroin for sale, authorities said.

Police had investigated Nina Freije for several days before arresting her Tuesday, Escondido police Lt. Craig Carter said. Police seized more than nine grams of meth and seven syringes loaded with heroin from her, Carter said.

Booking records show Freije is being held at the Vista Detention Center on $75,000 bail. She faces charges of possession and transportation of a controlled substance, and is scheduled to appear in court Friday.

You see when it does get out, every one will be hacking the area where this occured, plus I'd like to have that info with the artical, got to stop gossip hacks at the start.

face wrote on Aug 22, 2008 6:00 PM:Why is it every time a person who has a hispanic surname is either legal or illegal? Geez I swear...you spelled "leagel citzen" wrong.

Legal schmegal wrote on Aug 23, 2008 3:31 AM:My guess is she probably spends her nights in Grape Day Park. Hey, they need a place to congregate while waiting for the Maple Street mess to be implimented. No one can say that Escondido shortchanges its riffraff. Voice your opinion on the new and improved proposals for downtown Esco.

Teacher wrote on Aug 23, 2008 8:27 AM:No Face.....and you should have spelled "shouyld" correctly. You're NOT one to be correcting anyone. You need to go back to school. What do we have here...a bunch of First graders posting comments???

To Teacher wrote on Aug 23, 2008 9:26 AM:There is no reason to capitalize the F in first grader

At least we haven't stooped so low as to worry about whether the lady in this story is a legal resident. The moment she [allegedly] started selling drugs, she became scum, legal resident or not.

Dennis wrote on Aug 23, 2008 9:33 PM:Hey! to Teacher, be nice, your fisrt post is exactally what I meant, about gossip anyway, and hacking the aera, like good old Maple St. I wounder if the crookjs are/were making her do so for them, for favors, I see my feeling could go on and on. What if it hade been a male that age?? uuummmm. Sorry for the miss spelling, the capitol "F" was to bring light to it I suppose. I feel sort of sorry for her.

Oh my wrote on Aug 24, 2008 6:59 AM:you bloggers are a little ruff today with all the negative comments. I bet you all sleep better at night knowing that your comments have nothing to do with the story here. Get a life and a job. Don't ever insult teachers, and even if they are part time, it beats not working at all which I think is most of you.

parent wrote on Aug 24, 2008 7:06 AM:Sounds like someone is a little jealous of the teacher. Hey, you could have went to college to become a teacher. Thats right then you wouldn't be able to complain about them!

Too Bad... wrote on Aug 24, 2008 7:10 AM:they didn't let this go a little further and try to find and take down her source/s. This lady is a 2 bit player, take down and slam the ones supplying this crap for good. Who knows, maybe they wouldn't have gone down quietly and the Police, DEA, and Sheriff's could have used their limited rescources to avoid a trial....

to teacher wrote on Aug 24, 2008 8:20 AM:no pay raise for you

Esco Native wrote on Aug 25, 2008 8:00 AM:I'm just glad they got her off the streets and selling that junk!! It should not matter what race she is it does not make her any more or less of a criminal.
