OCEANSIDE ---- Two sisters and two men were arrested Tuesday after they allegedly kidnapped a 14-year-old girl in San Diego and photographed her naked in an Oceanside motel room in a scheme to sell her into prostitution, authorities said.

At about 5 a.m. Tuesday, the girl escaped her captors, who were sleeping in a room at the Oceanside Inn and Suites after a night of forcing her to pose nude, police spokesman Sgt. Kelan Poorman said.

She went to the 7-Eleven on Cassidy Street and South Coast Highway half a block from the motel and called 911 from a pay phone.

"She was somewhat calm," Poorman said of the El Cajon girl's demeanor when police found her.

At the motel, police arrested Dywane Tousant, 22, and Patrick Jones, 20, both of San Diego, as well as sisters Shawndrea Dorrough, 21, of Chula Vista, and Dominique Willis, 19, of Spring Valley.

Willis had her 8-month-old daughter with her, Poorman said. The infant was taken into protective custody.

The kidnapping victim was in good shape and was returned to her family in El Cajon, Poorman said.

Her ordeal began about 12 hours earlier when she meant to go to a friend's house, but boarded the wrong trolley in El Cajon and ended up in San Diego at 32nd Street and University Avenue, Poorman said.

After the girl spent about an hour there trying to figure out how to get home, the suspects pulled up and offered her a ride, Poorman said.

They allegedly told her they had to go to Oceanside to drop off the baby and then would take her home.

But when they got to Oceanside, they took her to the motel room, slapped her around and forced her to take her clothes off, Poorman said. When the girl tried to use her cell phone to get help, they snatched it from her, he said.

Investigators are not sure why the suspects took the girl to Oceanside.

They allegedly took pictures of the girl in explicit poses and told her they were going to put them on a Web site to sell her as a prostitute.

She was not raped and did not require medical attention after she escaped, Poorman said. No weapons were found at the motel.

Poorman said the four suspects were all on probation for previous charges, but he declined to detail their criminal records.

They were booked into the Vista jail on charges that included kidnapping for extortion, conspiracy to commit pimping and pandering, lewd and lascivious acts and robbery.

Police will continue to investigate the case, Poorman said.

"It is very unusual for something like this to happen," he said.

Good Job wrote on Sep 30, 2008 7:02 PM:Another good job by OPD. Without guick response and investigation these four are on their way back to San Diego and countining with thier criminal ways. OPD does this more often then not. So anyone that is always bashing OPD because of an occasional bad incident why don't you stop, especially those that are always saying bring in the SDSO, you don't know what you are talking about. GREAT JOB OPD, keep up the good work.

Thank God wrote on Sep 30, 2008 8:41 PM:she was not hurt more than she was. How sad and terrifying this must have been for her. Please don't get in the car with strangers! I'm sorry this happened to her, at such a young age too. I'm glad the [alleged] criminals were caught. God Bless the girl and her family.

opd is a shame wrote on Sep 30, 2008 8:53 PM:they didn't find her...she called them...so good job for doing their job?

To opd is a shame wrote on Oct 1, 2008 6:43 AM:Yes ... they did a good job doing their job. It's not possible to prevent all crime before it happens, but their quick response to her call prevented the criminals from getting away and repeating their offenses on someone else.

moi wrote on Oct 1, 2008 6:51 AM:These people even had a child with them. Why don't these adults get a normal job. The young girl is lucky. Glad she's okay.

To Fishy Indeed wrote on Oct 1, 2008 8:05 AM:Hey Fishy! If you checked your facts, she did try to call on her cell phone, but the a--holes caught her and took it away from her. OPD cannot prevent crimes before they are committed or before they are made aware of the crime. Stop being a total jerk and making yourself look bad. Thankfully, worse things didn't happen to this 14 year old child. Be thankful that OPD responded so quickly and thoroughly. I have nothing but respect and admiration for our Police Department. Why don't you try, put on a badge and a uniform so that you are a target every day and then perform as admirably as these men and women perform? Yes, they are human and sometimes they mess up, but those incidents are rare compared to all the great things they do.

I am one who advocates the death penalty for those who molest children! That is the ultimate "cure" for this type of crime and you better bet your sweet bippy that they would never commit the crime again.

esteban wrote on Oct 1, 2008 8:25 AM:Go away fake esteban. Everyone knows when you post a comment. And to "OPD is a shame"...YOU are a shame to your own family. That's why know one will admit to being your friend.

not amused wrote on Oct 1, 2008 9:01 AM:Wow, looks like many of you have your plastic cracker jack detective badges on and your magical decoder watches in full gear. Another crime solved by the know it all peanut gallery keyboard warriors. This is somehow the 14 year olds fault? Something is fishy? You mean that this short article did not cover all of the investigation in the hours they have had to check it out? I am so glad that many of you have pointed that out, the detectives would have never thought of these questions.....In any event, another good job by the police. No matter what the minor was doing, adults taking pornographoc pictures of her in an Oceanside motel room in the middle of the night, or anywhere at any time for that matter, is illegal and she is a victim. As far as the police just doing their job, yes that is right. That is what they do routinely, arrest street scum, and save victims as often as humanly possible. They don't just get to sit back and read the news about it and then be an armchair critic.

glad wrote on Oct 1, 2008 9:25 AM:to know that this girl did not get hurt or come up missing. If your going to get into a car with strangers better have some mace on you or a stun gun..

Whatever wrote on Oct 1, 2008 10:29 AM:At 14, I think she is old enough to take a trolley/ bus. I did when I was in high school. Her problem was getting into a car with a bunch of strangers. Never a good idea.

A Former Resident wrote on Oct 1, 2008 11:05 AM:To Fishy Indeed: Re-read the story, fool. The girl tried to use her cell phone and her captors took it from her. At least she had one and tried to use it.

We can speculate all we want: why this, why that...the bottom line is she took the wrong trolley, ended up in the wrong place and for whatever reason--only she knows--chose to accept a ride from the suspects. Note the plural...four against one. Perhaps the presence of two females and a baby gave her a false sense of safety. Who knows.

However, having grown up in So Cal and being the target of not one, or two, but three attempts of abduction, I can say this much I know is true: it is never too early to teach our children the reality of stranger danger. Unless and until the laws change in such a way that this type of criminal activity is eliminated, it will continue. Parents can only teach their children how to avoid those who want to do them harm. We can't be with them 24/7, nor can we magically eradicate pedophiles. Thank God this child was not harmed further.

I would wonder why wrote on Oct 1, 2008 11:25 AM:men buy teenage pro services (pervs)before I would wonder about a 14 year old using public transportation. How are our teenagers SUPPOSE to get around ? Getting in the car is what casued all this to happen.... NEVER get in a car with people you don't know is the moral of the story. My daughter has pervs trying to pick her up when she's walking. She knows how to handle it as we have already talked about it.

John wrote on Oct 1, 2008 1:32 PM:Why are people like that?

Hope wrote on Oct 2, 2008 9:59 AM:I just hope that this story is shared with all of the children/ teens we all know. That is exactly why this teenager got into the car, the women and baby made her feel a sense of safety. She should have called her mother, a friend , a police officer from her cell phone, they would have helped her. I am glad she is ok, this could have been a bad situation. My heart goes out to the innocent baby , she now has no mommy, I give thanks to the 14 year old girl, she saved this little one from a life with criminals, she may have been abused herself. Don't trust anyone! God bless OPD, for getting the job done!!!
