Kinda curious... wrote on Oct 22, 2008 4:43 PM:with all the identity theft going on...Why does the Registrar of Voters require that we sign the outside of the envelope when submitting mail-in ballots. Especially with our name and address clearly visible on the outside of each envelope!!! I realize that you can walk these into any polling place on Election Day. Defeats the purpose of mailing it in.

Greg in Oceanside wrote on Oct 22, 2008 10:46 PM:I wonder whether the topic of illegal immigrants comes up when discussing identity theft.

Oftentimes illegal aliens use SSNs and steal other people's identity to avoid being caught. As time goes along, they use stolen identities to take out loans and borrow money.

Enough is enough and it's time to deport all illegal aliens.

These illegal aliens wrote on Oct 23, 2008 1:27 PM:come into work for us with fake ss cards and we use e-verify. When they come back as illegal we have to give them a letter telling them to straighten it out within 90 days. But it is against the law to fire them. You folks better start writing Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi and all the others who are more than willing to hand our country over to the illegal aliens.
