Notre Dame loss to Orange Lutheran Last night which means Orange will most likely leap frog to number 1 over Cathedral. By the end of the playoffs Orange will probaly not make it past Tesoro next week. Which will Leave CC & Oceanside at 1 & 2 unless something happens. Remember Oceanside was number 4 last year for state bowl standings b4 the playoffs.

If not, chances are that Oceanside or Cathedral may get a bid. Cathedral almost lost against Pt. Loma last night, and may have trouble with Steel Canyon and Vahalla. As well Oceanside may have trouble with Scripps, Helix or Eastlake.

Just because all the editorial control is in Escondido doesn't mean squat! Aren't your editions zoned to give news coverage appropriate to the zone? You know, the (W) at the top of the sports page by the date.

If Oceanside played Cathedral they would beat them by 20 pts. Too bad they didn't get the papers in on time to move up to D2. I hope the papers get it right this week.

Scripps QB Forcier has a passing block(equivalent of writers block) when it comes to the passing game. He dumps it off to the flat or runs a screen almost 90 percent of the time. Easy fix 3-4 cover 2 w/ both outside backers playing zone in the flat, that should maintain coverage and maintain outside containment.

Which unfortunatly Oceanside will probaly get the bid over CC. They counter in all the recent titles and the fact Oceanside won state last year. If you ask me, I think CC & Oceanside should play eachother to see who will represent S.D.
