OCEANSIDE: Historical society to hold sale

OCEANSIDE ---- For the second time in 23 years, the Oceanside Historical Society is having a garage sale.

The event, from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at 631 South Coast Highway, will feature a variety of historic items and photographs, including images of the Pier, Mission San Luis Rey, Harbor, Beach and downtown businesses.

The society will also sell old street signs, easels, frames, typewriters and one-of-a kind items, as well as its book, "Oceanside, Where Life Is Worth Living."

All proceeds will go to the Oceanside Historical Society. Call (760) 722-4786.
