RANCHO PENASQUITOS: Pizza Hut robbed

RANCHO PENASQUITOS ---- A man who appeared to have a weapon in his pocket robbed a Pizza Hut restaurant Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The suspect entered the restaurant at 9926 Carmel Mountain Road just about 4:30 p.m. and demanded money, San Diego police Sgt. Bob Dare said. He fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
No one was injured in the robbery.
The suspect is described by authorities as a black man in his early 20s, 5 foot 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweat shirt with the hood up, mirrored sunglasses, a dark-colored bandana over the lower part of his face and dark-colored sweat pants.
The department's robbery unit was investigating the crime.
