Pan Pacific buys plaza

VISTA -- Pan Pacific Retail Properties Inc. of Vista has acquired Anaheim Plaza, a 492,000-square-foot community shopping center in Anaheim, for $57 million. The plaza is 96 percent leased and is anchored by a newly opened, 54,000-square-foot Gigante Supermarket; Smart & Final; Mervyn's; Ross Dress for Less; CompUSA; and a recently renovated, 146,000-square-foot Wal-Mart.

Georgiou opens in Del Mar

DEL MAR -- Women's fashion boutique Georgiou has opened a store in the Del Mar Plaza, 1555 Camino Del Mar.

Glacier Water revenues up

VISTA -- Glacier Water Services Inc. says its revenues for the quarter ended Dec. 28 increased 6.6 percent to $17,547,000 from the same period a year ago. For the year ended Dec. 28, revenues increased to $72,316,000, representing a 1.8 percent increase from 2002.

REMEC Inc. reports losses

DEL MAR -- REMEC Inc. of Del Mar, a radio frequency and microwave technology and product company, reported net losses of $34.7 million for the fourth quarter and $49.4 million for the full fiscal year, which ended Jan. 31. The losses for the fourth quarter and the full year compare with losses of $35.8 million and $63.8 million, respectively, for the same periods last year. The company said net sales for the fourth quarter and full year were $113 million and $385 million, respectively, as compared with $75 million and $247 million, respectively, for the previous year.

Eldorado Stone partners with DQ

SAN MARCOS -- Eldorado Stone LLC, a San Marcos-based manufacturer of architectural stone veneer, says it will be supplying 1,500 square feet of its Eastern Regional Tennessee Mountain Ledge stone profile for the exterior design of at least 25 new DQ Grill & Chill restaurants per year across the country. Additionally, 35 to 45 existing stores per year will be retrofitted with Eldorado Stone material.

Masson collaborates to provide cabin

ESCONDIDO -- Civil engineering, land surveying and land development consulting firm Masson & Associates Inc., which has its headquarters in Escondido, has collaborated with the Escondido Sunrise Rotary and other local businesses and residents to give people with disabilities a cabin at Dixon Lake Recreation Area. Health center to award scholarship

ImageWare partners with ActivCard

RANCHO BERNARDO -- ImageWare Systems Inc., a Rancho Bernardo-based provider of digital imaging, biometric and identification solutions, has signed a co-marketing agreement with ActivCard Corp., a provider of digital identity solutions for secure remote access, single sign-on and enterprise access cards. The companies will collaborate to market identity management and badging solutions that enable convergence of physical and digital credentials for secure access and smart card-based identification capabilities.

St. Bernard product a finalist

RANCHO BERNARDO -- St. Bernard Software Inc., a Rancho Bernardo-based provider of security solutions, says SC Magazine named its Open File Manager solution as a finalist for its Global Awards 2004.
