CARLSBAD -- Arbitrators are scheduled Friday morning to hear a dispute in which the owners of the Four Seasons Resort Aviara seek to oust Four Seasons Ltd., of Toronto, as the resort's management company.
The owners, Broadreach Capital Partners and Maritz, Wolff & Co., say that occupancy levels have fallen sharply under Four Seasons.
The owners first sought arbitration in March. Meanwhile, they allegedly had representatives break into a manager's office late on a Saturday night. Four Seasons sought a restraining order earlier this month.
A representative of Broadreach and Maritz, Wolff & Co. said Thursday that the three-member arbitration panel could reach a decision as soon as Friday afternoon.
