POWAY ---- General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. has been awarded two contracts totaling $34.8 million, the Department of Defense announced Friday. Both contracts were given on Sept. 30.
One contract, for $18 million, is to supply ground control stations. The second, for $16.8 million, is for product improvements and technical support for an extended-range/multi-purpose unmanned aerial system.
Both contracts are for the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command Contraction Center in Redstone Arsenal, Ala.
