What Is NIE? In 2007, the North County Times and The Californian will deliver more than 1 million newspapers to local classrooms - that's more than 30,000 newspapers during the average school week. We invite you to become a Newspaper in Education Sponsor in 2007. Your contribution will go directly towards providing newspapers to local classrooms, offering valuable learning opportunities to students throughout North San Diego County and Southwest Riverside County. All sponsorship dollars are matched by the North County Times and The Californian. NIE builds skills

*$200 provides an average of 25 newspapers delivered to classrooms
three times per week for one school year. Delivery frequency
and number of students vary by classroom.
**Individual NIE "thank you" ads are scheduled throughout
the year by the North County Times and will include your company
name and/or logo, city, and phone or URL address. In addition,
monthly group sponsor ads include company name only for Copper,
Bronze and Silver levels, and company name and/or logo for
higher levels.
***Ad sizes 1x5, 2x5 and/or 2x10 are available at these levels.
