CLARIFICATION: Woman voiced personal opinions

Information in an article about a T-Mobile cell tower that ran in Thursday's edition of The Californian was unclear. A Temecula resident who works for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke in favor of the proposal to build a 50-foot tower at Margarita Road and Date Street in Murrieta. The resident was offering her own opinion and was not speaking on behalf of the governor, though she did refer to him in her comments.

CORRECTION: County seeking to trim $130K

In a Thursday editorial in The Californian, the amount the county is seeking to trim from its budget this year was stated incorrectly. The county is looking to cut $130 million in expenses from the 2009-10 budget. We apologize.

CORRECTION: Detail incorrect in article

An article in Friday's edition of The Californian about a run-in between City Councilman Thomas Buckley and signature gatherers in a campaign attempting to recall him contained an error and a statement that should be clarified. When Buckley said the gatherers flipped something over, he was referring to their clipboards. When Buckley voted against allowing live entertainment at the Trevi Entertainment Center, it was because of safety issues. We apologize.
