Coming of Age program
VISTA -- Palomar Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will celebrate the conclusion of its Coming of Age program, in which 15 youths and their mentors have spent more than five months in an intensive spiritual exploration and identity formation program. The youths will share their belief statements at the 9 and 10:30 a.m. services Sunday. The church is at 1600 Buena Vista Drive. Call 760-941-4319.
Free summer family programs
ESCONDIDO -- Emmanuel Faith Community Church are hosting a series of free weekly "drop-in" family events this summer. Family Movie Night is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a free family-oriented film with popcorn and water provided. Part-time assistant pastor added to staff
FALLBROOK -- Christ Church Fallbook announced that the Rev. Brian Capanna has been added to its staff, and will be preaching at the congregation twice a month. Capanna is a recent graduate of Bethel Theological Seminary in San Diego, and is joined in ministry by his wife, Laurin. The church meets Sunday afternoons at the Living Waters Christian Fellowship campus at 2000 Reche Road, and was formerly known as St. John's Anglican Church. Call 760-728-2007.
Summer childcare offered
FALLBROOK -- St. Peter's Catholic School is offering full- and part-time summer programs for children ages 3-12 beginning Wednesday and running through Aug. 14. The school is on church grounds at 450 S. Stage Coach Lane. Call 760-728-7034.
