Don't feel like cooking an elaborate turkey dinner this Thanksgiving? Local restaurants are offering a number of buffets, dinners and take-home options to give you the year off from kitchen duties. Here's a roundup of some local Thanksgiving dining options:

- Barona Ranch Casino & Resort: The Lakeside casino offers a prix-fixe, three-course menu at its Barona Oaks Steakhouse for $42 ($70 with wine pairings) from 5 to 10 p.m. and a traditional Thanksgiving buffet will be served from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $29.95; 1932 Wildcat Canyon Road, Lakeside; (888) 722-7662.

- Four Seasons Resort Aviara: The Carlsbad resort offers three options: Vivace has a four-course Thanksgiving dinner from 3 to 8 p.m. for $110 for adults and $30 for children under 12; Argyle Steakhouse offers an afternoon buffet from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for $85 for adults and $42.50 for children under 12; and a brunch buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the California Bistro for $85, adults; $42.50, children under 12; 7100 Four Seasons Point, Carlsbad; (760) 603-6000.

- Frankie's Steak & Seafood: The Temecula steakhouse is preparing takeout turkey dinners with all the trimmings for 10-12 people, priced at $195. Must be ordered by Nov. 24 for pickup at 1:30 p.m. Thanksgiving day; 41789 Nicole Lane, Temecula; (951) 676-8040.

- Hotel del Coronado: Classic Thanksgiving buffet will be served from noon to 6 p.m. in the Crown Room, priced at $84 for adults and $37.50 for children ages 6 to 10 (children 5 and under free). - Humphrey's Restaurant: A Thanksgiving buffet with champagne will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shelter Island restaurant/concert venue. The price is $49.95 for adults and $16.95 for ages 4 to 12; 2241 Shelter Island Drive, San Diego; (619) 224-3577.

- Kitchen 1540: The newly opened restaurant at the remodeled L'Auberge Del Mar Resort will offer a prix-fixe, three-course Thanksgiving day dinner from noon to 8 p.m. Price is $49 for adults or $24 for children under 12; 1540 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar; (858) 793-6460.

- Lael's at the Manchester Grand Hyatt: A Thanksgiving buffet with Belgian waffles, omelets, an interactive chopped salad station and chocolate fountain, will be offered from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $59 for adults, $54 for seniors and $27.50 for children ages 5 to 12; 1 Market Place, San Diego; (619) 358-6735.

- Loews Coronado Bay Resort: The hotel's Market Cafe will serve a Thanksgiving buffet with California wine country items, seafood and sushi, a children's buffet and dessert bar; from noon to 5 p.m.. Adults are $62, children are $31; 4000 Coronado Bay Road, Coronado; (619) 424-4444.

- Marie Callender's restaurants: Options include a Thanksgiving dinner at some locations and a take-home feast for six to 10 people, ranging from $99 to $149. Visit mariecallenders.com.

- 101 Cafe: The Oceanside cafe is offering a low-priced family alternative for a holiday Thanksgiving turkey dinner priced at $9.99 per person, available every day through Jan. 1; 631 S. Coast Highway, Oceanside; (760) 803-1017.

- Pinnacle Restaurant at Falkner Winery: The Temecula winery will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner buffet with prime rib and Atlantic salmon from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dinner, which includes a glass of Falkner white wine, is $44.95. - Rancho Bernardo Inn: The Inn has three dining options. El Bizcocho Restaurant offers a four-course dinner with free-range turkey three ways, salmon and rib-eye from 2 to 8 p.m. at $75 ($110 with wine pairings), which includes a "Turkey a Go Go" take-out container; $25 for children 14 and under. A traditional Harvest Buffet will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Aragon Ballroom, priced at $54 for adults and $25 for children 14 and under. And the Veranda Bar & Grill offers a four-course traditional dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. priced at $46 for adults and $25 for ages 4 to 14; 17550 Bernard Oaks Drive, Rancho Bernardo; (858) 675-8555.

- Savory Casual Fare: The Encinitas restaurant will offer a Thanksgiving brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring two prix-fixe three-course dinners: turkey brunch for $39.50 or beef tenderloin for $46. - Terra Restaurant: Prix-fixe Thanksgiving day menu includes a soup/salad, entree of turkey, pork loin, salmon, prime rib or vegetarian option, traditional sides and choice of three desserts.
