TEMECULA -- A free workshop about sleep disorders will be presented at 10:45 a.m. Monday at the Mary Phillips Senior Center.

Children's support group to meet

MURRIETA -- Michelle's Place, the Women's Breast Cancer Resource Center, will host Kids Konnected, a support group for children 5 to 18 who have a parent with cancer, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Knowing yourself topic of meeting

WILDOMAR -- The Cafh Foundation will present a meditation and dialogue for adults on "Our Physical Selves: A Common-Sense Approach" on Wednesday.

The Cafh Foundation sponsors free monthly meditations in conjunction with a class for children ages 5 to 9 called Living from the Heart. Both groups meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 21776 Palomar St.

The Cafh Foundation is working to unfold consciousness in human beings. The final scheduled meditations is "Making a Better World: What are My Responsibilities?" on April 23.

Yoga offered at senior center

MURRIETA -- Yoga classes are offered twice weekly at the Murrieta Senior Center.

Classes are held at 9:15 a.m. Thursdays and 9:30 a.m. Fridays. The cost is $5 per class.

Medical group plans health fair

TEMECULA -- Rancho Family Medical Group and Regal Medical Group are sponsoring a free health fair and open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 15.

The fair will offer free health screenings, activities for children, prize drawings. Former NFL player and Olympian Willie Gault will also be there.

Teams sought for Race for Humanity

MENIFEE -- The Race for Humanity is looking for businesses, organizations or groups of friends or family to organize teams to run or walk in the race on April 26 at Mt. San Jacinto College.

More than 1,200 runners and walkers are expected to participate as teams, competing for awards for the most members and the most pledges raised. Groups of 10 or more can register as a team.

To register, visit www.Race4Humanity.org by April 10. Teams may also register from 2 to 7 p.m. April 10 at the campus.

The Race for Humanity strives to raise awareness for various issues pertaining to women in Riverside County, such as domestic violence, substance abuse and breast healthcare.

Donations may be made at Valley Blood Services, 25115 Madison Ave., Suite 105, Murrieta, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Donors must be at least 17 years old, in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds.

Valley Blood Services is also encouraging donors to join the National Marrow Donor Program this month
